How long do beeswax wraps last?


Up to a year with proper care. Wash with cool water and mild detergent. Keep away from heat including hot water. Not recommended for use with raw meat or greasy foods. You can refresh your wraps by setting them in the sun for a couple hours, or heating with a blowdryer to melt wax back into cloth. You can also replenish your wraps. Lay on a baking tray, grate beeswax over it and place in oven at 185°F until melted.




Can wraps be used in the freezer?


Yes. Food can be wrapped and stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.




Can wraps be used in the microwave?


No. Wraps will melt with heat. Also, best not to cover hot food with them.




Can wraps be used with meat?


It is not suggested to use with raw meat because hot water can not be used to sanitize. However, slices of coldcuts on a sandwhich are fine.




Are beeswax wraps compostable?


Yes. Beeswax wraps are made from organic natural materials that are biodegradable.




Are beeswax wraps anibacterial?


Yes. The tree resin and jojoba oil are naturally anti bacterial and anti microbial. Keeps food fresher longer!




Are beeswax wraps vegan?


Beeswax wraps are not vegan because because beeswax is an animal product.
